Wealdstone man at the Dripping Pan

By Ian Townsend

Luke Dreher signs on loan for Lewes

Lewes gave a debut to Wealdstone midfielder Luke Dreher in Saturday's FA Trophy defeat at Whitehawk, and he played for the first fifty one minutes as he returns from injury.

Luke came through the ranks at Crystal Palace, playing both for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides at Selhurst Park and making a first team debut from the bench in a five-three end of season win over Bournemouth at the end of the 18-19 season, but the following season suffered a terrible ACL injury which kept him out for a considerable period.

Whilst with the Eagles he spent time playing on loan for the Ravens of Bromley, so with his move to the Rooks there seems to be something of a pattern developing!

He went on to spent time with Ebbsfleet United, and signed for the Stones in the summer, but once again has had no luck with injuries. Hopefully his spell at the Dripping Pan will help him hit the heights once more.
