Wingate and Finchley start another manager search

Wingate and Finchley have just announced- via social media- the departures of manager Steve Clark and assistant Danny Foster. Their statement explains:

'Wingate & Finchley have parted company with manager Steve Clark and assistant Danny Foster. We would like to thank both Steve and Danny for their hard work, and wish them all the best in the future.

Both are always welcome to Summers Lane as friends of the club. No further comment will be made on the managerial situation at this stage.'

Clark was appointed in mid May, and had previously spent time with the Blues, but had more recently been a coach at Sporting Bengal United. Foster was previously a player with Dagenham and Redbridge and Wycombe Wanderers. The duo have won three of their ten competitive matches in charge at Summers Lane, with five defeats, and sit in nineteenth place in the BetVictor Isthmian Premier Division.
