A Final- South Central- Countdown!
There’s very little still to decide in Pitching In Isthmian South Central- apart from a little home advantage conundrum!
Champions Leatherhead will hope to end their campaign with victory over Bedfont Sports, and we already know that the Play Off Semi-Finals will see Westfield host AFC Portchester and Hanworth Villa take on Moneyfields- although in relation to that match we don’t know whether we’ll be heading to West London or Portsmouth!
Villa hold third place, and a one point advantage over the Moneys, so will be favourites to take that home advantage as they welcome Raynes Park Vale for their last match of the regular season. Moneyfields welcome second place Westfield, and will want- at the very least- to claim a psychological advantage just in case the sides meet in the Final! The Moneys have already defeated Field at Woking Park this season, winning three-one back in November- but Westfield sit at the top of our six match form guide, having taken sixteen points from the last eighteen available to them.
At the other end of the table, Littlehampton Town’s defeat against Hayes & Yeading United on Tuesday ensured that the Golds filled the last relegation spot, going down with Met Police, Horndean and Fareham Town.
