A Lowestoft double

Lowestoft Town's latest arrivals are Jack Herbert and Benji Blyth. 

Defender Jack played for Great Yarmouth Town last season, making- according to the FA website- fifteen appearances. He joined the Bloaters midway through the previous campaign after a long time out with serious injury. He also spent time with Kirkley and Pakefield last season, playing sixteen times and scoring twice, both they and Yarmouth in the Thurlow Nunn Premier. That wasn't his first spell with Kirkley, as he was previously manager and captain at the club- and he has also had management experience in charge of Waveney.

He's an Everton supporter, but we won't hold that against him. At least, not much.

Midfielder Benji comes in from Diss Town. He played forty times there last season, and indeed has made more than one hundred appearances for the club in total. Last season saw him honoured with the Players and Supporters Player of the Year Awards.
