A new management duo for Mildenhall

A new management duo for Mildenhall

Alex Rossis and Ben Mayhew take over as joint-managers next season

Mildenhall Town travel to Felixstowe and Walton United on Saturday with their fate in the balance- but whether they stay with us or not, they'll have not one but two new managers next season.

Hall boss Phil Weavers confirmed his departure end of season back in March, and his last match will decide which League his side will play in next season. They start their final match against our second place side sitting three points from safety, so they'll have to hope that the Seasiders are already focused on the Play Offs- and that fifth bottom Takeley are defeated by eighth place Wroxham.

The club have decided that two managers are better than one, and have appointed Alex Rossis and Ben Mayhew to joint-managerial roles.

You may remember Alexis from his time in charge at Stowmarket Town. He also spent time in temporary charge at Bury Town, following the departure of Ben Chenery in March 2023. He previously played for Bury, and also for the likes of Clacton and Billericay Town.

Ben was goalkeeping coach at Bury Town until the start of this year, and had been coaching and playing at Ram Meadow until the start of this year.
