A new Margate duo
Johan Caney-Bryan and Albie O’Mara-Knapp are the latest Blue debutants
Margate have added a new duo, Johan Caney-Bryan and Albie O’Mara-Knapp arriving at Hartsdown Park.
Johan ended last season at Herne Bay, the forward delivering five goals in fourteen appearances after moving to the seaside from Faversham Town. He had played twenty nine times for the Lilywhites, scoring eight times. That followed forty appearances and seven goals as he helped the club to promotion during 24-25.
He was previously a big success at both Hythe Town and Sittingbourne.
Albie, also a forward, spent some loan time with Erith Town last season, from his parent club Dartford. He ended up playing twenty eight times for the Dockers, and scoring eight goals.
Albie was part of the Darts Academy for three years, and signed a first team contract in the summer of 2025. During the 24-25 season he spent some time with Whitstable Town, and indeed was part of the side which won the FA Vase at Wembley. He made thirteen appearances for the Oysterboys.
