A pair of Crows
Finley Chapman and George Brooke debut for Crowborough Athletic
FA Cup heroes Crowborough Athletic returned to League action at the weekend with a two-two draw against Merstham- and with two new players in their first team.
Finley Chapman makes a move from Hastings United. The midfielder came through the Academy at Pilot Field and went on to play a big part in the first team squad. He made half a dozen appearances during 22-23, and thirteen with one goal the following season in our top flight, before a proper breakthrough campaign in 24-25, with forty eight appearances and six goals. He followed that with forty three appearances and five goals last season.
George Brooke comes in from Margate, where he has played twice this season after arriving in mid August. Full back George rejoined Cray Wanderers in the summer, but left without playing this season. He was also with Wands last season, playing nine times and scoring once. That followed six appearances during the 24-25 season and eleven during 23-24.
He also spent time with Ashford United last season, playing eleven times, and with Erith Town, playing four times and scoring twice.
He was also previously at Sevenoaks Town, where he played six times during the 24-25 campaign.
