A Prior arrangement

Pitching In Isthmian South Central side AFC Portchester have brought in a rather famous Non League name, Jason Prior making a move from Dorking Wanderers. 

Prior has had two spells at Dorking, and has become something of a legend at the club, scoring more than one hundred goals and helping them to win our Premier title in 2018-19 (with twenty seven goals) before following that with National League South promotion in 21-22. That 18-19 season saw him named in our Team of the Year. 

He remains a legend at Bognor Regis Town, who he helped to the Semi-Final of the FA Trophy in 2015-16, the Rocks also reaching the Premier Play Off Semi-Finals helped by his forty goals! He got thirteen goals the previous season, too. That was his second spell as a Rock, and he was even more prolific in the first one, scoring almost one hundred goals in one hundred and twenty six appearances.

As well as Wanderers and the Rocks, Jason spent time with AFC Wimbledon, a spell which was hampered by serious injury. He turned out for Dartford, Margate, and- of course- also helped Havant and Waterlooville to win our Premier title in 2016-17, scoring twenty two goals. 

He has also played, very early in his career, for AFC Newbury and Moneyfields. More here.
