Mitchell Ward makes a Bowers debut- hours after playing for Southend
Pitching In Isthmian North side Bowers and Pitsea had a new full back as they earned a point in Tilbury last week, Mitchell Ward coming in on loan from Southend United.
Mitchell, who plays for the Under 18 side at the Shrimpers, spent time on loan in the Essex Senior League at Basildon United last season, and after sixteen appearances departed with the Players Player of the Year Award.
He certainly proved his fitness on Tuesday- he also turned out for Southend's Under 23 side in a match against MK Dons which kicked off less than five hours before he made his Bowers debut!
