A Tilbury Ward

Tilbury have announced the dual registration signing of Lester Ward from National League South side Chelmsford City.

Lester, a defender, came through the Academy at the Clarets, and made his first team debut a towards the end of the 23-24 campaign. Last season saw him spend some time at Heybridge Swifts on a similar deal, playing three times, before returning to Chelmsford and winning the Academy Player of the Season Award whilst also playing for Halstead Town in the Essex Senior League.

His Under 19 side were the National League Alliance Under 19 Division A Champions, and he was regularly part of the first team squad.
