Liam Jackson and Ryan John are first two new Yachtsmen
Wroxham have announced two new arrivals, with Liam Jackson and Ryan John signing on.
Forward Liam steps up from Diss Town of Thurlow Nunn League First Division North, where he scored twenty goals last season despite making only thirty four appearances. Liam previously turned out for Leiston, Sheringham, Norwich United and Harleston Town.
Boss Jordan Southgate explained:
“I’ve wanted LJ on board for some time. He’s a proven goalscorer at every level he’s played at and I know the fans will love him.”
Ryan makes a rather bigger step up, the defender coming in from Acle United of the Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination- Step seven of the Non League game. According to the FA website he made thirty six appearances last season as his team took the title- a point ahead of Wroxham Reserves! Soutgate stated:
“Ryan is someone I’ve been aware of for some time. After a standout season, I’m excited he’s chosen us as the next step in his football journey.”
