All change at the top for Stow

Walthamstow may not have managed to play their match on Saturday, but they did find time to quietly change manager, with the departure of Vinny Murphy and the arrival of Colin Reid.

Vinny took the top job in E17 in January 2024. He returned to the club in November 2023 as Nicky Ironton's Assistant, and had hardly unpacked his bags before he was covering the top job after Ironton's departure on December 3rd. A legend as a player for the club, he leaves with them in eighteenth place in Pitching In Isthmian North.

Reid has most recently been first team coach at Welling United. but he has extensive coaching experience at a higher level, too. He has coached in the Academies at Leyton Orient, Charlton Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur, Millwall and West Ham United, and spent time as Technical Director at Stevenage. 

He also spent time as Assistant Manager at Bishop's Stortford, and as first team coach at Macclesfield Town and Maidstone United.
