Ben Allen swaps Witham for Tilbury
Tilbury have brought in Ben Allen from Pitching In Isthmian North rivals Witham Town.
Ben joined Witham last summer, moving from Basildon United, and the midfielder had an extremely positive campaign, playing forty two times, scoring eight goals, and delivering a hosts of assists.
Ben arrived at the Bees as the transfer window slammed shut in March 2025, and managed half a dozen appearances as United failed to arrest a slide that led to their relegation.
He most of the 24-25 season with Heybridge Swifts, a spell which brought thirty three appearances and five goals.
Ben first joined Basildon in November 2022, making twenty four appearances during his first campaign, with three goals, before playing thirty six times during the 23-24 season and upgrading his shooting boots to finish the campaign with nine.
He spent much of the previous four seasons turning out for Southend Manor in the Essex Senior League, and also played for White Ensign.
