Allen is the latest Witham arrival

Witham Town's latest arrival is midfielder Ben Allen, who ended last season at Basildon United.

Ben arrived at the Bees as the transfer window slammed shut, and managed half a dozen appearances as United failed to arrest a slide that led to their relegation.

He most of last season with Heybridge Swifts, a spell which brought thirty three appearances and five goals. 

Ben first joined Basildon in November 2022, making twenty four appearances during his first campaign, with three goals, before playing thirty six times during the 23-24 season and upgrading his shooting boots to finish the campaign with nine. 

He spent much of the previous four seasons turning out for Southend Manor in the Essex Senior League, and also played for White Ensign.
