Tilbury bring in Mo Amir and Ronnie Winn

Prior to Saturday's FA Trophy tie against Dagenham and Redbridge, Tilbury announced two new arrivals.

Midfielder Mohammed Amir was a Southend United youth player who spent time with East Thurrock United just before their sad demise and then headed to Australia. He returned to us just prior to last season, joining Maldon and Tiptree, and made twenty six appearances.

He has played seven times for the Jammers this season.

Ronnie Winn is a player perhaps best known for his time with Hornchurch, but more recently was with Redbridge. He made eighteen appearances for Redbridge last season, thirty seven- including an Essex County Cup win- during 23-24.

He was with Hornchurch for more than three and a half years, a spell which- of course- included an FA Trophy victory and a Play Off Final appearance. Ronnie made twenty five Hornchurch appearances during the 21-22 campaign, fourteen during the Trophy winning season- scoring in the Fifth Round victory over Maidstone United- thirty during 2019-20, and twenty seven after joining midway through the 2018-19 season, including a Velocity Trophy Final appearance.

Prior to his time as an Urchin, Ronnie played for Waltham Abbey, and he was previously a promotion winner with Thurrock. He also played for Grays Athletic and Basildon United.
