Another friendly round up
Lots of our sides were in pre-season action last night. Here, so far as we know, is what happened
AFC Stoneham entertained Bashley, the visitors departing with a two-one victory, whilst Ashford Town were narrowly defeated by Farnborough, one-nil the final score.
Ashford Utd and Greenwich Borough drew two-two, and at Parkside our runners up from last season took on our champions, and it was Aveley who triumphed, defeating Folkestone Invicta three-two. Image from Kicks and Clicks. Eddie Dsane, Ollie Peters and Max Booth scoring for the Millers.
Barking and Tilbury entertained, honours even in a six goal thriller, Dockers goals from Ezra Agyiri (2) and Jon Nzengo, whilst at the end of the runway Bedfont Sports lost three-one against Yateley United.
Billericay Town were the hosts for Cambridge City, but two trialists came up trumps for the visitors, who won by two goals to one, and Brightlingsea Regent walloped AFC Pegasus six-one. Tom Cottle-Wood was amongst the scorers. Buckhurst Hill were five-one winners against Stansted, and Burgess Hill Town defeated East Grinstead Town three-nil, with Chris Whelpdale, Grey Coleman and Ben Pope finding the net.
Chatham Town were defeated by Herne Bay, Joe Taylor and Lewis Gard with the goals in a two-nil win, and Merstham defeated Chislehurst Glebe two-one. Corinthian were the hosts for Sevenoaks Town, Oaks winning two-nil, and Dartford overcame Ebbsfleet Utd two-one, with goals from Atkins and a trialist.
Dial Square and Windsor & Eton played out a two-two draw, and Littlehampton Town made the short trip to East Preston and won four-nil, Gabriel Robinson (2), George Taggart and Harry Heath finding the net. Erith Town were defeated two-one by Raynes Park Vale, and Whitstable Town were five-two winners at Faversham Strike Force.
Faversham Town were three-one winners against Snodland Town, Hudson and Olutade amongst the scorers, and Follands Sports were defeated two-one by Winchester City. Takeley won four-three at Harlow Town, and Heybridge Swifts were no match for Concord Rangers, the Beachboys winning four-one. Torres and Wardle were amongst the scorers.
Horley Town were defeated three-two by Godalming Town, whilst Lingfield were defeated two-nil by Croydon Athletic. Lowestoft Town defeated Waveney two-nil, A. Trialist and Luca Upton with the goals for the Trawler Boys, and Margate defeated Sutton Athletic four-two, Splatt, Hand, Boulton and a trials scoring the goals.
Pagham and Moneyfields drew one-one, another trialist goal, and we had another one-one draw as Punjab Utd took on Greenways FC, Roman Campbell scoring for the hosts.
Redbridge took on Barcelona, and won six-nil, and Whitehawk continued to hammer in the goals, winning five-two in Roffey. Beaux Booth and Liam Moore were amongst the scorers. Sheppey Utd were two-one winners against a Bromley XI, Salako and Chambers with the goals.
Sutton Common Rovers welcomed Leatherhead, the Tanners leaving with three imaginary points after a two-one win, Murphy and Anokye-Boadi with the goals. Walsham le Willows were defeated two-nil by Mulbarton Wanderers, goals from Churchill and Cruis, and Wingate & Finchley defeated Waltham Abbey three-two.
Wroxham were four-one winners over Harleston Town. Ryan Hawkins, Lucas Densley and Shaun Taylor were amongst the scorers.
