Bareck and Boachie new in the City
Michael Bareck and Joe Boachie move in at Cambridge City
Cambridge City welcomed two debutants over the Bank Holiday weekend, as Michael Bareck and Joe Boachie moved in.
Joe Boachie started this season at Aveley, but played only once. He joined the Millers from Sittingbourne, where he made forty six appearances last season- as the Brickies reached the Quarter Finals of the FA Trophy and amassed one hundred and one league points.
Joe spent time with Folkestone Invicta during the 23-24 season, on loan from Tonbridge Angels- he made five appearances for the Stripes. He also spent time on loan at Royston Town.
He was previously with Kingstonian and Potters Bar Town. He made three appearances for the K's- with one goal- during the 22-23 campaign, and he made thirty four appearances- with eight goals- for the Scholars during the 21-22 season, and played another eight times for the Scholars the following season.
In between the Scholars and the K's he spent time with Braintree Town, and went on to play for Hungerford Town before joining Angels.
Earlier in his career Joe was with Concord Rangers, and also played for Grays Athletic, moving up from the reserves to the first team in 2016 and making three appearances before the end of the 2015-16 season. He also turned out for Loughborough University, Dagenham & Redbridge and Stamford. Whilst at Stamford he was named in the Evo-Stik Team of the season- and had a trial with Birmingham City before injury got in the way.
Michael Bareck came through the youth ranks at Ipswich Town, spent some time with Southend Manor, and, towards the end of the 21-22 season, with Athletic Newham in the Essex Senior League. He stared the 22-23 season with Bowers and Pitsea, where he played sixteen times and scored three goals, and then moved on to Witham, where he played fourteen times and scored five goals. He started the 23-24 season with AFC Sudbury, these days in Pitching In Southern Premier, before moving on to Basildon United, playing eight times and scoring twice, and then to Walthamstow, ten appearances and one goal.
He joined Ipswich Wanderers in September last year, making thirteen appearances and scoring four goals before a move to Dulwich Hamlet, Michael comes in from Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Dulwich Hamlet, where he played only twice before heading to Witham to end the campaign.
