Barker in Yellow

New AFC Sudbury man Eddie Barker might not at first glance resemble a lucky charm, but he joined a club who had lost their opening four League matches and they immediately won three-nil at Little Oakley, with Eddie playing the entire ninety minutes.

Midfielder Eddie comes in after already playing three times for Pitching In Southern Premier side Needham Market this season. He joined the Marketmen as an Under 15 and worked his way through the age groups, playing for the Under 18 and reserve sides before making a first team debut in 23-24. He has played at Step Two for the club, as well as at Step Three- and on loan at Woodbridge Town.
