Not one Greenidge, but two, as Jordan and Reiss Greenidge join Sittingbourne
Sittingbourne have strengthened their squad with the arrivals of Jordan and Reiss Greenidge.
Forward Jordan played youth football for both Reading and Stoke City, and then packed his bags for Cyprus to play for Omonia. After a spell in Spain he returned to the UK with Newport County, and then had spells at Weymouth, Dartford and Hemel Hempstead Town.
Whilst with the Tudors he moved to Tonbridge Angels on loan and became an instant success, eventually moving permanently to Longmead. Another spell as a Dart was followed by a move to Chelmsford City for 24-25, and last season found him in National League South with both Slough Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Brother Reiss Greenidge, a defender, played his formative football with Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion, and had loan spells at Port Vale and Ipswich Town whilst at the Hawthornes. After leaving the Midlands he signed for Ebbsfleet United before three loan spells at Hemel Hempstead Town, and then he decided he rather liked cold weather, moving to Norway, where he played for both Sogndal and Arendal.
He returned to the UK with Bolton Wanderers, had a loan spell at Barnet, before having a successful spell at Maidstone United. He played alongside his brother at Slough last season.
