Bridges v Brighton or Borough- Sussex Final date confirmed

Three Bridges are Sussex Senior Cup Finalists- and they now know when they'll be heading to the Amex

Pitching In South East champions Three Bridges have had a magnificent season- but it isn't finished yet!

Bridges travel to Faversham Town on Saturday, hoping to take their points tally up to ninety eight, add to their one hundred and twenty two goals, and end their hosts Play Off hopes- but then they'll have to wait until May 13th for their next match, and it's a big one.

Bridges have reached the Final of the Sussex Senior Cup for the first time in their history, and they've done it the hard way, They defeated Little Common in the Second Round, hammered Wick ten-nil in the Third, and then found themselves up against holders Horsham, of National League South- but defeated the Hornets on penalties after a one-one draw. The Semi-Final saw them face National League South leaders Worthing at Sussex FA HQ Culver Road, and Bridges certainly didn't look like underdogs, running out four-two winners.

The second Semi-Final, between Brighton and Hove Albion and Eastbourne Borough, has been delayed until April 29th- much to Borough's disappointment- and whoever wins that will face Bridges at the Amex on Wednesday 13th May.

Many congratulations- indeed, more congratulations- to Bridges. Here's hoping that you can end the season with a League and Cup double.
