Can Badshot Lea mount a great escape?

We’ve four South Central sides in action this evening, as Badshot Lea welcome Rayners Lane, whilst Borough and Binfield meet in the Cup
Pitching In Isthmian South Central sees bottom side Badshot Lea play host to Rayners Lane. The bottom place Baggies have only one win all season and find themselves twelve points from safety, but they have looked much improved over their last three matches so won’t have given up hope just yet, and will have plans to repeat Binfield’s escape act of last season. Standing between them and three critical points this evening will be Rayners Lane, the visitors hoping to quickly get Saturday’s hammering at the hands of the leaders out of their system. That was Lane’s first home defeat of their first South Central campaign, but they’ve been far less convincing on the road, picking up only one victory so far.
When the sides met In September Lane took an early two nil lead, only for the Baggies to hit back and grab a point three minutes from time.
We’ve an all South Central Velocity Cup Fourth Round tie as Harrow Borough welcome Binfield. Borough have hit a rather inconsistent run of form, with only two wins from nine in all competitions- although they have been very good on their own patch. One of those defeats came against the Moles on the last day of last month, an exciting match- if you were a Binfield supporter- which saw seven goals and an eighty-eighth minute winner, so you can be sure that the home fans this evening will be willing their side to exact some revenge. Postponements have meant that Binfield have played only once since then, a goalless draw with title chasing Kingstonian two weeks ago, so they’ll be rather desperate to get back into action. The Moles, unusually, also have a Friday night fixture this week, travelling to take on Ashford Town in the League.
