Carter takes over at Borough

Pitching In Isthmian South Central Harrow Borough have announced the appointment of Wayne Carter as their new manager.

Wayne comes in from Harefield United. He steered United to the Combined Counties Premier North Play Off Final last season, where they were defeated by Bedfont Sports. Perhaps things might have ended differently had the match been at home rather than away, as United had more home wins that any other team in the Division, and scored in every home match.

You'll remember him from his time as manager at Chertsey Town, and as joint manager at Hanwell Town as they won promotion via our South Central Play Offs in 21-22. As a player, he turned out for the Geordies, Hendon, Northwood, Uxbridge and Wealdstone, and also spent some time as Player Manager at Egham Town.
