Cawley swaps the Scholars for the seaside

Steve Cawley heads to Concord Rangers

Concord Rangers gave another debut to striker Steve Cawley as they travelled to Redbridge on Saturday.

Steve moved to Potters Bar Town in the summer, and has scored fifteen goals in thirty nine appearances.

He spent the 23-24 season with Margate, and was a great success in a Blues season that was short on those. He managed twenty goals in forty seven games, including three in two matches against his new club, so perhaps they've signed him to ensure that doesn't happen again! Steve moved to Kent from Hitchin Town of Pitching In Southern Premier Central.

He has played most of his career at National League South level, particularly with Hemel Hempstead Town, Concord Rangers and Bishop's Stortford. His other clubs include Chesham United and Stotfold.
