Champions in numbers 25-26: Maldon & Tiptree
We look at the Jammers triumph- in numbers
Maldon and Tiptree have had a magnificent season, deserved winners of Pitching In Isthmian North. These are the stats that saw them to the title!
97- the number of points achieved- exactly the same as runners up Felixstowe & Walton United
97- the number of goals scored matches the number of points! And it was more than any other side in the Division. Only Leatherhead, Folkestone Invicta, Three Bridges and AFC Whyteleafe from across the League scored more.
11- the goal difference between the Jammers and the Seasiders, the margin that won the title
33- the number of goals conceded, the best defensive record in the Division
0- the number of times the Jammers lost at home- the best home record in the entire Pitching In Isthmian League
29- the number of goals scored by Freddie Sears, including a hat trick in victory at Brantham Athletic back in August. That makes him the top scoring player in Pitching In Isthmian North, and puts him in second place e across the entire League, with team mates Malachi Napa and Mikey Faulkner also appearing in the League top twenty
914- the Jammers average attendance, up from 364 in 2024-25
1596- the number who turned up to watch the Jammers defeat Heybridge Swifts just after Christmas
30- the number of victories, matches only by Three Bridges and Leatherhead - and, of course, Felixstowe and Walton United- across the entire league.
9- across the entire Pitching In Isthmian League, the Jammers had the ninth best average attendance
20— the number of years which have passed since a Jammers side was last in our top flight
Many congratulations to all at the club on a fine campaign. We now wait to see who joins you at Step Three.
