Chidi of the Chats

Chatham Town welcomed a new face on Saturday, as Mark Chidi made a move from Bray Wanderers of the League of Ireland Premier.

Mark moved across the Irish sea in January, after starting last season at Wingate and Fnchley. The centre back played sixteen times for the Blues, after stepping up from Heybridge Swifts.

Mark made thirty six appearances for Swifts during the 24-25 season, and scored two goals. He previously played youth football for West Bromwich Albion, and then spent some time at Fisher, where he played twenty eight times during 23-24. He also had a brief spell with Thatcham Town during 22-23, and so far as we can see it was very brief, as he played only once.
