Former Redbridge boss George Christou takes over as Basildon United boss
Relegated Basildon United will be leaving us for the Essex Senior League shortly, but they have decided that the man to mastermind their return is former Redbridge boss George Christou.
George departed the Motormen in October last year, having taken Redbridge to promotion and won the Essex Senior Cup.
Prior to his time at Redbridge he was a coach at Aveley, playing an enormous role in the creation of their Academy programme and winning the Essex Senior Reserve League title.
