Coaching Young Talent & Famous Football Offspring | Isthmian League Podcast | Episode 11
Welcome to Down The Clubhouse, the official Pitching In Isthmian League podcast.
Youth coach supremo Nigel James, rock band Enter Shikari and Ashford Town manager Luke Tuffs all feature in Episode 11 of Down The Clubhouse, the official Isthmian League podcast.
James Barrett-Sterling and Mick Sullivan are joined by Nigel James to discuss how he got into youth football coaching, the positive role parents can play during the process and his role within the Kingstonian U18 squad.
He also reflects on the highs and lows that come with working with aspiring footballers, including seeing graduates playing in the professional game, and highlights the paths his children Reece and Lauren took as they eventually became England internationals.
UK rock band Enter Shikari took time out from their UK/European tour to speak to James about sponsoring St Albans City, while Mick ventured into Kent to catch up with Ashford Town (Middx) manager Luke Tuffs.
There's also a focus on the Isthmian clubs left in the FA Cup as Mick recaps Leatherhead's 3-3 draw against Yeovil Town, plus does Kember speak to his well-known father about football matters?
