Coleman and Plummer are a pair of seaside specials

Eastbourne Town announced the arrivals of Grey Coleman and Alex Plummer prior to Saturday's trip to Ashford United- although we expect neither really enjoyed making their debuts in a heavy defeat against the Nuts and Bolts.

Grey comes in on loan from Burgess Hill Town, and emerged from the bench against United. The forward was part of the Hillians all-conquering youth side, picking up the Isthmian Youth South title and the Isthmian Youth League Cup before stepping up to be part of the first team squad this season. So far as we can see he is yet to make his Hill senior debut.

Alex Plummer moved along the coast from Steyning Town. The midfielder played for Newhaven, Ringmer, Saltdean United, AFC Uckfield Town, Loxwood and Eastbourne Town before first coming our way with Lancing, and after that he moved on to Haywards Heath Town. He played forty times as Steyning took the SCFL Premier title last season, and has played once this season.
