Downham's final Isthmian match- for now- also has a beer festival!
Downham Town have already seen their relegation sadly confirmed, whilst Saturday's visitors Waltham Abbey will already be thinking about their Play Off Semi-Final against Stanway Rovers- but away from all that tension both sets of fans will be delighted to read that Saturday's match at Memorial Field happens to coincide with the Downham beer festival!
The home fans have three days in which to drown their sorrows to a musical accompaniment, whilst the travelling Abbotts faithful will surely enjoy their Saturday afternoon all the more given the extra delights on offer. The football starts at 3PM- but as you can see the beer will be flowing from 1!
