From Brickie to Miller for Jamie
Jamie Grossart moves up- and celebrates three points and a clean sheet on his Aveley debut
Aveley have signed goalkeeper Jamie Grossart from Pitching In Isthmian South East promotion hopefuls Sittingbourne- and he had a fine start to his Millers career, with three points on the road at Chatham Town and a clean sheet.
Jamie came through the youth setup at Southend United, where he played for the Under 18's. He had a loan spell at Harlow Town in Pitching In Southern League at the end of 2021, and had a very short loan spell at Aveley during their 22-23 promotion campaign, playing only once so far as we can tell, in a two-one Millers victory at Herne Bay. He has also spent some time at AFC Bournemouth.
The 23-24 season saw him play for Hutton in Thurlow Nunn First Division South, and 24-25 saw him at Maldon and Tiptree, playing twenty six times.
He signed for Hashtag United in the summer of 2025, and played four times for the Tags, before a move to Wingate and Finchley brought three appearances. He joined the Brickies in December 2025, and he made fourteen appearances, followed by ten this season.
