Goals galore in the South East- and the Trawler Boys triumph in the North

Sittingbourne and Erith Town both hit seven on the road, Deal get four, and Lowestoft Town are victorious in Pitching In Isthmian North

Lowestoft Town returned to winning ways on Saturday, and they added another three crucial points with victory over Mildenhall Town. The Trawler Boys went ahead on twenty four minutes, Sam Aldous with the opener, but Hall weren’t out of contention until deep in added time, when Mitchell Belmar added a second. Lowestoft climb above their visitors in the Pitching In Isthmian North table, and open up a six point gap between themselves and the drop zone.

Into our South East Division, and Sittingbourne crushed Broadbridge Heath seven-one. We were watching on and describe the events in detail- HERE.

Erith Town needed victory at bottom side East Grinstead Town to lift them out of the bottom four- and they got that victory, and in some style. They were two up within ten minutes, Albie O’Mara-Knapp and Bertie Valler putting them in control, and they added a third on twenty six minutes, James Dyer with that one. The Wasps them got a goal back, Tariq Richards giving the home fans something to cheer, but their cheers soon turned to despair as Luke Leppard saw red shortly afterwards.

On fifty three minutes the visitors were also reduced to ten men, scorer Dyer seeing red, but the Dockers still added a fourth just after the hour- Richie Atkins- and they weren’t finished. Five minutes from time Carlos Richards added a fifth, four minutes after than the same player notched number six from the spot, and in added time, another penalty, and Atkins got number seven.

Erith are now two points clear of the drop zone, whilst the Wasps are twenty six points from safety with thirteen matches left to play.

Deal Town climbed to eighth, comfortably seeing off Herne Bay. The visitors actually took the lead, Johan Caney-Bryan opening the scoring on twenty minutes- but Deal were soon level courtesy of Ben Chapman, and took control after the break. Chapman added another on fifty two minutes, an own goal quickly made it three-one, and Jack Paxman’s fourth, just after the hour, wrapped up the points.
