Gordon double brings Becks three points

Beckenham Town pick up crucial win in bottom four battle with Vickers
Beckenham Town travelled to VCD Athletic with a winless run stretching back to October 21st- nine matches- but they put that to rest with two second half goals to reduce the gap between themselves and safety to seven points.
Their hosts were hoping for a win that would lift them out of the bottom four, but they fell behind four minutes into the second half, Shaquille Gordon punishing a hand ball by firing home the resulting penalty. Vickers did their best to get back into the match, but they were undone deep in added time, Gordon making the points safe with five added minutes played.
That was that, two-nil the final score. Becks will hope to build on victory as they play Crowborough Athletic on Saturday, whilst Vickers travel to Sheppey United.
