Grant heads to the Skyex

Hayes and Yeading United is the destination for Harry Grant, who departs Hartley Wintney to link up with his former manager at Ascot United, Jamie Tompkins.

Harry came through the youth setups at Reading and Swindon Town before a move to Sheffield Wednesday, moved on to Gillingham, and then had a loan move to Maidenhead United. Periods with Bromley and Farnborough followed.

He then spent time with Hayes & Yeading United, Chippenham Town and Reading City, before a season with Thatcham Town and another with North Leigh. He moved to Ascot in 2022 and helped his side to a Combined Counties/FA Vase double, before becoming a mainstay of their Isthmian side- and indeed its captain. He played forty nine times last season, leaving the Yellas in the summer for Southall, where he played four times. He then moved to Hartley, and has played seventeen times, scoring once.
