Harvey, Hogan, Adams and Muldoon are the latest Grays quartet
Grays bring in Ollie Muldoon, Brandon Adams, Connor Hogan and Rob Harvey
Grays Athletic have let us know about four new arrivals.
Ollie Muldoon will be best known to you from his time with Hornchurch. Ollie has been a part of all of the Urchins successes in recent years, a big part of the side which reached the FA Trophy Final in 20-21, playing forty five times as they reached our Premier Promotion Final in 21-22 and another thirty two times as they did the same again during 22-23, before playing thirty four times as they took out title in 23-24. He has gone on to play a big part in the National League South campaigns. Last season saw him spend some time on loan with Aveley, making eleven appearances and scoring once.
Earlier in his career Ollie was a Charlton Athletic youth, making it into the first team squad before loan spells at Gillingham, Dagenham and Redbridge and Braintree Town. He eventually left the Addicks for the Gills on a permanent basis, and also played for Maidstone United and Chelmsford City before joining Hornchurch.
Brandon Adams is a striker we suspect you'll know well from his time with Potters Bar Town.
He scored ten goals in thirty four appearances last season, fourteen in thirty three during 24-25, and eighteen in thirty three during 23-24. He joined the club from Ware in the summer of 2023.
Brandon spent some time in Pitching In Isthmian Premier with title winners Bishop's Stortford during 22-23 season, after signing on a dual registration deal from Cheshunt- who he joined the previous summer. He played twelve times for the Blues and scored once. Prior to that he played for Royston Town, but you will perhaps also remember him from his periods at Enfield Town and a previous spell at Ware. He made seventeen appearances for the Towners at the start of the 2018-19 season, weighing in with four goals. He played youth and Under 21 football for Queens Park Rangers, and spent time in Ireland with Linfield
Connor Hogan ended last season at Whitehawk, making half a dozen appearances after moving down from Heybridge Swifts just before our transfer deadline day.
Midfielder Connor has been part of promotion-winning squads at Brightlingsea Regent, Hornchurch and Cheshunt, and then spent time with Brentwood Town from 2019-20, when he made twenty eight appearances and scored five goals. 20-21 saw him play six times before a second campaign in a row fell over, and 21-22 brought forty three appearances, two goals and an unlucky Play Off Final penalty shootout defeat. 22-23 came with twenty nine appearances and two goals, and during the 23-24 season, when the Blues again lost a Play Off Final on penalties, he played twenty seven times, scoring once.
He moved to Heybridge in January 2025 making fifteen appearances in the second half of the 24-25 season and twenty eight last season.
Rob Harvey spent some of last season at Heybridge Swifts, playing eighteen times and scoring twice.
Winger/Forward Rob spent most of the 24-25 campaign with promotion-chasing Felixstowe and Walton United, where he made thirty three appearances and scored four goals. He started that season with promotion-chasing Brentwood Town, and made a dozen appearances for the Blues before his move to the seaside.
Rob moved to Brentwood from Swifts, but, of course, had played for the Blues before- indeed he put in a man of the match performance as Brentwood Town took Canvey Island to penalties in the Pitching In Isthmian North Play Off Final at the end of the 21-22 campaign.
Rob spent two seasons with the Blues, making ten appearances during 2020-21 and following that with forty nine- and fourteen goals- as his side fell just short the following season. He moved to Swifts in the summer of 22, and made twenty two appearances- with four goals- during 23-24, following forty six as new side also fell just short in another Play Off Final at the end of 22-23.
Rob is known as a winger, but he's equally adept as a wing back. He was part of the Brightlingsea Regent squad that earned promotion from the North Division in 2016-17, going on to play for the club in our Premier Division before earning a contract with Millwall. He was a Lion for a year before moving on to Braintree Town, and has also spent a little time at AFC Sudbury.
