Makhaya James arrives at Sheppey United
Prior to taking on Herne Bay on Tuesday evening, Sheppey United announced a little squad strengthening, Makhaya James joining the club.
Earlier in his career- indeed whilst he was still at school- Makhaya played for Glebe and for the Kenetic Academy, and he was soon snapped up by Colchester United, where he played for both the Under 18 and Under 21 sides.
During the 24-25 season he turned out in the SCEFL for Holmesdale, and in the Combined Counties- briefly- for Spelthorne Sports, but you might have also noticed that he started that season by playing eight times for Hythe Town, then in our South East Division.
He began 25-26 at Heybridge Swifts, where he played sixteen times, and then headed South East with Beckenham Town, playing twenty seven times. He started this season at Stanway Rovers, making one appearance.
