A rather late equaliser gives Westfield a point- after Borough come from two down to lead
Westfield travelled to Harrow Borough looking to apply even more pressure on leaders Leatherhead, and they went ahead just before half time, Michael O’Connor with the opening goal of the match. Nine minutes after the break it was two-nil, Ethan Lindo taking his tally to ten in seven matches, but Gareth Chendlik quickly halved the arrears for the hosts and they drew level with sixteen minutes remaining, Dernell Wynter’s penalty his thirteenth goal in eighteen matches. Right at the end, a killer blow- and we suspect you could also hear cheering in Leatherhead as Chendlik made it three-two to the hosts! Things were much quieter in the home end seven minutes into added time, however, as Tom Dryer levelled for Field- and the match ended three-three. It also ended with Borough down to ten men, Lucas Miller dismissed right at the end. Westfield stay second, but slip four points behind Leatherhead.
