Leaders Ramsgate hoped to bounce back from their defeat at Merstham in midweek as they welcomed Eastbourne Town- Manager of the Month versus our Golden Gloves winners! The Rams were fourteen unbeaten until that reverse and hadn’t lost a home match this season, whilst Town had seen a seven match unbeaten run come to an end last time out against the Rams local rivals Margate, but had kept four clean sheets in their previous seven matches. The visitors suffered an enormous blow in first half added time, Dan Hull sent off, and they were soon made to pay for it, Alfie Paxman putting the Rans ahead within four minutes of the second half kicking off. Joe Taylor soon scored his customary goal to make it two, and on sixty seven minutes Tom Clifford added a third. Five minutes from time Taylor added a fourth, his FORTY THIRD of the season, and finally, that was that- and victory took them a massive ten points clear at the top.
