Vale's play off hopes hang in the balance after Borough draw
Raynes Park Vale’s play off hopes hung in the balance. Three wins from ten had left them four points away from the top five with four games left, and after taking one point from the previous nine available Vale knew they would probably have to pick up three points as Harrow Borough made the trip to South West London. Borough, however, had the more positive start, going ahead on sixteen minutes through Rayon Atkinson, but Vale drew level nine minutes before half time, Trevan Robinson continuing his fine form in front of goal with his seventh in eleven matches. The scoring stopped there- and Vale’s chances of a top five finish look remote, now six points away from the promised land.
