Hill break Brickies hearts with a shootout win
Burgess Hill Town travelled to Sittingbourne for our Pitching In Isthmian South East Promotion Final on Friday evening, and deservedly delivered a triumph for their supporters after a thrilling match. After the Brickies deservedly went ahead midway through the first half Hill took the match to their hosts, levelled eighteen minutes from time and dominated the second half. Extra time saw lots of endeavour but no more goals, but a nervy shootout saw the side from Mid Sussex come out on top.
