Billericay Town rested their entire team as they played in the Velocity Cup in midweek, and hoped to increase their unbeaten League run to six as they travelled to North London to take on Wingate and Finchley. Town were beginning to look like the side who came so close to the title last season, and they went ahead just before the break when Teddy Collis held his nerve from the spot. Elliot Long, formerly with the hosts, doubled the Billericay lead eight minutes after half time, but the North Londoners quickly hit back, Romeo Akinola halving the arrears- and then they got an equaliser, Cain Keller making it two-two. The match ended with no further goals, Billericay in eighth, Wingate in twelfth.
