Ige back in Town

Luke Ige returns to Witham
Witham Town have announced a return to the club for Luke Ige- who has already played for them thirteen times this season but who has most recently been at Canvey Island. He has played eight times for the Gulls.
Luke was a big part of Witham's positive start to last season, playing eight times and scoring two goals from full back, and then had a spell at Sutton Common Rovers, where he played sixteen times and scored three goals, before returning to Witham in January 2025 and playing eighteen times more.
He also managed six goals and thirty four appearances for Town during the 23-24 season, following a brief interlude and two appearances for Concord Rangers.
Luke was Managers Player of the Year for his performances for Witham during the 22-23 season, when he made thirty one appearances. That followed thirty nine appearances during 21-22 and seven during his first spell with the club, 2019-20.
He started his career with Aston Villa, coming through their Academy before signing for Colchester United and playing for their Under 23 squad. He has also spent time with Merstham, playing twice during the finished almost before it started 20-21 campaign.
