It's National Volunteer Week- thanks to all of our volunteers!
Our league thrives because of its volunteers- here's how you can join the throng, and we've TWENTY NINE clubs with vacancies!
Clubs across the Pitching In Isthmian, Southern and Northern Premier Leagues will already be familiar with the Pitching In Volunteer Hub- but we thought we'd take the opportunity to remind prospective volunteers of its existence, given it's National Volunteer Week.
More than fourteen million people volunteer at least once a month across the UK. The value of those volunteers to our economy last year was measured at nearly five BILLION pounds, so if you are a volunteer, the country should be thanking you very much for all of your efforts.
It isn't hyperbole to suggest that most of our clubs wouldn't be able to operate without a small army of volunteers. We wouldn't be exaggerating to state that volunteers are the life-blood of the Non League game, either.

At the moment, Brightlingsea Regent, Bognor Regis Town, Bowers and Pitsea, Harrow Borough, Cambridge City, Bedfont Sports, Hashtag United, Canvey Island, Sevenoaks Town, Grays Athletic, Herne Bay, Witham Town, Wingate & Finchley, Maldon & Tiptree, Westfield, Whitehawk, Hayes & Yeading Utd, VCD Athletic, Felixstowe & Walton United, Cheshunt, Leatherhead, Billericay Town, Cray Wanderers, Chatham Town, Hendon, Erith Town, Carshalton Athletic, Hanworth Villa and Beckenham Town are all advertising vacancies, which perhaps reinforces how reliant we are on your help!
Prospective volunteers, if you put in your postcode then the hub will list opportunities in your local area. If you can spend some time helping out your local club they will be incredibly grateful- and you will become an important and highly valued part of their success.
