Jackson is the new head Cannon

Ira Jackson Jr appointed Hythe Town manager
Pitching In South East side Hythe Town- who suffered relegation at the end of last season- have announced the appointment of Ira Jackson Jr as their new manager.
Ira has most recently been working as a coach at Sheppey United, but you will particularly remember him from his time at Folkestone Invicta, where he was particularly successful, earning a professional move to Grimsby Town as a result.
Prior to his time with Invicta Ira had already played for a number of our clubs, including Ashford United, Margate, Ramsgate and Worthing, but his first spell with the Stripes saw him scoring goals for fun and soon heading to a rather different- and colder- seaside. After leaving Grimsby he spent time at Wealdstone before a return to Invicta, leaving the club at the end of January 2024. He spent some time coaching at Corinthian before joining the Ites.
Hythe Town Chairman Andy Nanda explained:
“Ira’s energy, vision, and dedication to player development align perfectly with our goals. We believe their knowledge, combined with our commitment to youth development and the integration of our U23s, will forge a clear pathway for talent to shine. We’re confident that under his leadership, the club will embark on an exciting new chapter."
