Jackson returns to where he began
Joe Jackson returns to Bedfont Sports- where he made a debut aged sixteen
Joe Jackson has been announced as returning to Bedfont Sports- and played a big part as his side drew against Winchester City at the weekend.
Joe moved to Leatherhead in the summer, but leaves Fetcham Grove after not featuring for the first team. He moved to the Tanners after another promotion-winning campaign with Farnham Town last season, where he made forty eight appearances, scoring twice. He emerged from the bench as his side hammered Gloucester City in the Final on Bank Holiday Monday.
We say, ‘another promotion-winning campaign’ as that was Joe's third successive promotion. He was with Farnham as they won our South Central Division in 24-25, playing forty four times, and when they triumphed in Combined Counties Premier South, also playing forty four times.
He was previously at Uxbridge, and of course at Bedfont Sports. He made one hundred and seventy appearances for Sports, after making a debut aged just sixteen.
