Johnson new in a different blue

Saturday saw a debutant at full back for Wingate and Finchley, Joseph Johnson making a dual-registration move from Billericay Town.

Joseph played a big part in Redbridge's progress to the Pitching In Isthmian North Play Off Final last season, playing twenty three times and scoring three goals. He signed for Billericay in the summer, and has made four appearances at Step Two.

Prior to becoming a Motorman Joseph played Under 21 football with Hull City. He was previously with Huddersfield Town, where he played for the Under 17 and Under 19 sides, and when even younger was with West Ham United.
