King back with the Sparks

South Park Reigate have announced a return to the club for Sam King.

Sam leaves Merstham to head back to Whitehall Lane. He has played twenty one times for the Moatsiders this season, scoring half a dozen goals, which followed forty two games and eight goals last season. 

His time at the Sparks was a big success, and culminated with a Surrey Senior Cup triumph at the end of 23-24. The midfielder scored fourteen goals in forty seven appearances during that campaign, six in thirty three the season before that, and four in eleven after signing on for the closing stages of the 21-22 season.

He was previously with Redhill, and if Sevenoaks Town fans have any recollections of him they will probably appear in the form of nightmares. He was part of the Redhill side who came from three goals down to knock Oaks out of the FA Cup in September 2021- indeed he scored two goals in seven minutes to bring the Lobsters level.
