Kpekawa makes a Sheppey move
Sheppey United bring in defender Cole Kpekawa
Sheppey United have started their summer recruitment early, the Pitching In South East side announcing an agreement to sign defender Cole Kpekawa.
Cole's early career was with Queens Park Rangers, where he was part of the Academy setup before joining the first team squad. Whilst at Loftus Road he had loan spells at Colchester United, Portsmouth and Leyton Orient, before permanent moves to Barnsley and then Colchester.
North of the border he played for St Mirren, and then headed back to a familiar destination, Billericay Town, before an ill-fated spell in Slovakia. He returned to our shores with Chelmsford City, and went on to play for Hemel Hempstead Town and Maidenhead United before a spell with Bromley. He was with Oxford City last season, and moved to Bedford Town last summer before heading our way, with Potters Bar Town.
He made twenty three appearances for the Scholars.
