AFC Whyteleafe announce that all ticket proceeds from their match with Eastbourne Town will go to charity
Pitching In South East promotion chasers have announced that all gate receipts from Saturday's match with Eastbourne Town will be donated immediately to charity- and that charity is the Pitching In Isthmian League's Charity Partner for this season, Prostate Cancer UK.
The club explain:
AFC Whyteleafe will be donating all ticket proceeds from our game against Eastbourne Town FC at Church Road to PROSTATE CANCER UK .
AFC Whyteleafe has been fund raising for this amazing charity at all home games for the month of October. And, the club has decided there is no better way to finish the month of fundraising than by, donating all gate money from our final home game of October. So, let’s get a huge crowd down to Church Road supporting this life changing charity whilst supporting the Leafe!
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 1 in 8 men will get it, and if you’re Black, your risk is double. So, let’s raise as much money as we can and play a small part in eradicating this disease and help save the lives of our fathers, brothers and friends.
