Leese departs Hayes & Yeading

Andy Leese leaves Hayes & Yeading United
Hayes and Yeading United have announced the departure of their joint-manager Andy Leese.
Andy has been in post since April 2024, but you will also remember him from his previous role in charge of Enfield Town, where he held the manager's role for six years, steering his side to a Play Off campaign and, in 21-22, to the Third Round of the FA Trophy. After leaving the Towners he spent some time at Kettering Town before heading to Hayes.
As a player, Andy turned out for the likes of Leyton Orient, Oxford United, Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday, and prior to his time at Donkey Lane as a manager was successful in charge of Chesham United.
Andy's joint-manager was Simon Lane, so we suspect that Simon, who was previously at Kingstonian, will be flying solo from this point.
Simon departed the K's in February last year, having moved there after a spell in charge of Westfield. He was previously manager and Director of Football at Wingate and Finchley, and has managed Windsor & Eton, Maltese side Naxxar Lions, Northwood and Egham Town.
