Mekhi McKenzie makes a Rovers move
Mekhi McKenzie is new at Stanway Rovers
Stanway Rovers announced the arrival of Mekhi McKenzie prior to their trip to Cambridge City at the weekend.
Mekhi was a big part of the Brentwood Town side which won our Pitching In Isthmian North title last season, and indeed made one appearance in our top flight earlier this season. Last season saw him play thirty seven times and score seven goals, whilst there were twenty seven appearances and fourteen goals as the Blues reached the Promotion Final in 23-24.
He has most recently been with AFC Sudbury, playing sixteen times and scoring once. He has also played three times for Essex Senior League side Saffron Walden Town this season.
He previously had two spells at Brightlingsea Regent, an earlier spell at AFC Sudbury, and also turned out for Clacton.
